Travel Log Sketchbook 2

Travel Log Sketchbook 2 (Japanese: 紀行通信 スケッチブック 2) (also known as: Kaidashi Kikou Sketchbook 2) is a fan-made doujinshi written and illustrated by Yaesu (Japanese: 入重洲) with photography by Juushimatsu (Japanese: じゆうしまっ) based on the Japanese science fiction manga series Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou written and illustrated by Hitoshi Ashinano. It was published by Shimaya Publishing (Japanese: し) on December 29, 2000 in a 12 page saddle stitch bound paperback book.
The book includes a short illustrated story featuring Alpha Hatsuseno and the Misago. It also includes a 4-koma with Kokone Takatsu and Maruko Maruko titled Maru Here (Japanese: まるここね). After that, it includes two photographs, the first titled Calm (Japanese: 凪) and the second titled Sea of Clouds and Birds (Japanese: 雲海と鳥). Both photographs are reminiscent of environments in the original manga.
Plot
The story takes place in the post-apocalyptic world of Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, specifically at the mailbox installed just outside Café Alpha. While Alpha is away from the café, the Misago pops out from behind some bushes and notices that Alpha has some mail. Curious, the Misago decides to have a taste. Suddenly Alpha is heard motoring back to the café on her scooter, causing the Misago to panic and rip the letter. As an apology, the Misago decides the best course of action is to tie a live fish to Alpha's mailbox.
The second story titled Maru Here is a 4-koma featuring Kokone and Maruko. In this 4-koma, Kokone and Maruko lean in to kiss one another. After the kiss, Kokone asks Maruko if she had eaten dumplings.
Reception
It is unknown how much attention Travel Log Sketchbook 2 garnered in Japan. Outside of Japan it has yet to gain traction, largely due to the fact that no English version exists. It has been reported that Roselia Scans are in possession of the doujinshi's cleans and a willing typesetter, but do not have a translator for the doujinshi.
As of March 15, 2023 the doujinshi's is not available on MangaDex or other scanlation websites.
