Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō 2 (ドラマCD ヨコハマ買い出し紀行 Drama CD Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō) is an audio drama first released by Aniplex in 1997. Like its prequel, it was also first broadcast on the Shiina Hekiru’s radio show “SHINE IN NAKED” and its sequel “HOLY SHINE IN NAKED” from January 1997 until March of the same year[1].

It covers the chapters from the second and third volumes. Soundtrack by Gontiti, including a remix and new original song.

Trivia

  • The prologue is a mix of wordings from the first chapter and the author’s note for the first volume.
    • That same phrases from author’s note would once again be used for the first OVA ending and also the very last chapter of the manga.
  • It adapts almost the entire second volume, with the exception of chapters 14 and 15, the ones focused on the Uncle and the Doctor's youth.
  • As a celebration for the reissue, every week on the official Aniplex site, an audio containing one phrase would be upload to the site[4].
    • The last known phrase was one from Kokone in the Special Order on February 28, 2002.
