Welcome to the Yokohama Kaidashi Wiki, a wiki for everything relating to the manga Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou by Hitoshi Ashinano. The wiki is a collaborative community, dedicated to collecting all information related to the franchise, such as the storyline, characters, locations, and more! The wiki format allows users to create or edit any article, so we can all work together to create a comprehensive database. New users and editors are wanted, so sign up and have a look at the beginner's guide!

Introduction
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō (Japanese: ヨコハマ買い出し紀行, Hepburn: Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, commonly abbreviated as YKK) is a Japanese science fiction manga series written and illustrated by Hitoshi Ashinano. It was serialized in Kodansha's Monthly Afternoon magazine from June 1994 to February 2006, with a concluding postscript episode in July 2006, and collected in 14 tankōbon volumes. Parts of the story were adapted as two original video animation (OVA) anime series of two episodes each. The first is simply titled Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou, and the latter one is titled Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou: Quiet Country Cafe.

The series depicts the daily life of an android who runs a coffee shop some time after the Earth's ecology has collapsed. It is noted for its spare pen-and-ink drawing style, as well as its calm, meticulously paced stories and engaging characters. Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō won the 2007 Seiun Award for best science-fiction comic.
Introduction
Yokohama Kaidashi Kikō (Japanese: ヨコハマ買い出し紀行, Hepburn: Yokohama Kaidashi Kikou) is a Japanese science fiction manga series written and illustrated by Hitoshi Ashinano.
